I love the pose you put sly in. Its very dynamic and makes for a memorable silhouette

Thanks! I had a lot of fun doing crouches.
Good job, I hardly draw objects in digital art, so your art piece looks pretty good to me. The shading is well done especially.
Thanks for the response! If you have any tips, advice or criticism please share (^^)
Looks flat, but good early attempt. I'd recommend putting more work into the sketch to make it look more three-dimensional. But thats just a fundamental piece of art and would need a lot more practice. Everyone needs more practice in that. But just as digital art tips, you could make your line-art layer opaque in the layers section of the art program you use, and put a layer over that so that you can make much cleaner lines. Also, I'd recommend to lower the opacity of your brush to make grass. I just recently discovered how useful it is. If you want some tips on sketches, try to find a pencil tool to make it. Any tool should suffice but I find the pencil tool to be my most preferred. If you can't do these things in the art program you use, I'd recommend Krita. Its a great art program thats free and I use it all the time.
Thanks for the tips! i will try Krita, looks good
I really like this piece, but I think there's some part that need improving. I'm not sure which Samus suit this is based on, but from what I know of Samus, I'd say make work on her arm and cannon. Make it look for technical and robotic on the cannon. Make it look more like a weapon. And make her left arm longer. But I really like how you did the head and main body. And the coloring's pretty good.
Thank you!!
ill take your critique into mind and i appreciate the response
also the suit is based of a mix of i believe the ref i used was from prime 3and my own ideas including a little more "organic" canon.
again thank you for the comment!
Where did you find this character design challenge? In the art forums?
On facebook there is a group called "character design challenge" and every month there's a theme, check it out there's a lot of ridiculously talented folk posting great art.
This has really good shading to it. Plus the design has very distinct features that make it stand out above others
Thanks dude! Frankly though, I could have gone further to resolve the idea and some of the smaller elements. But I'll have to revisit some of the other ideas I had when I go to make the model sheet.
Hello, this is the main account I post my art to. You can ask me to do some requests but I'll only draw it if I like it. But if you commission for it, I am way more likely to fulfill it.
